Lindsey Strok was born in Kansas City, MO and began dancing at the age of nine, developing her passion and love for dance. She grew up in Springfield, MO and after a few short years of dancing, gained her first professional role as "Claire" in the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, and was asked to reprise her role the following season. In the subsequent years, she toured internationally with the Messiah Project as a dancer in the European Tour and later as a principal dancer in the Orient Tour. Following high school she attended Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York City as a part of the Certificate Program. During her time in the city, she performed in the off-Broadway production of "Follow Me." Follwoing her time in the city, she danced as a principal dancer and choreographer with iPourLife Productions and celebrity star, Alison Stoner. Lindsey was also honored to introduce dance as a category for the National Fine Arts Festival in North Carolina performing alongside the Australian band, "Planet Shakers." Her summers were spent dancing with Kansas City's Culture House and Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. In 2010, she moved to Northwest Arkansas and continued her training with The Royal Academy of Dance under the instruction of Peggy Wallis. Since arriving, she has continued to pursue additional training with RAD receiving "Distinction" in all Intermediate-Advance Two exams, and then performing her Solo Seal at the Michael J Fox Theater in Vancouver, Canada. From 2011-2018, Lindsey danced with Northwest Arkansas Ballet Theatre and enjoyed many soloist roles including: Nutcracker's "Snow Queen," "Sugar Plum" and "Arabian Pas;" Cinderella's Pas de Deux Act II, Sleeping Beauty's "Red Fairy;" Carnival of the Animals, and many origianl contemporary ballet works. Lindsey's passion to explore new opportunities and continue to grow as an artist has brought her to dance with Ballet Frontier of Texas in Fort Worth. During this season, Lindsey is excited to be a part of Artistry Elite!
